There are two types of grinding machines: "cylindrical grinding" for machining round objects and "surface grinding" for machining flat surfaces. In the case of "cylindrical grinding," there is also a process called "internal grinding," which involves grinding the inner surface of a cylinder. In both cases, the grinding wheel is used to remove material from the workpiece and finish the surface smoothly, achieving high dimensional accuracy and surface roughness that are difficult to attain with cutting processes. This method requires the grinding wheel to come into contact with the workpiece, which is associated with heat treatment issues during processing. Our company has a track record in manufacturing control panels for this type of machine tool.
